Positive: Lovingly restored period home in 2 parts. The whole interior has been preserved, there are many exhibits, like in a museum disc phone, gramophone, etc. At the same time all the plumbing is quality and new. Large kitchen. Despite being in the centre of the town, it is very quiet. Pleasant host who gives a tour of the house. Free parking nearby

Negative: The only downside is that the beds and floors on the first floor creak. However, the floors themselves are a work of restorative art, of which the owner is obviously proud and deservedly so. But, sleeping on the ground floor, if someone else is sleeping on the first floor, is hard. I really like old houses like this and I am always sympathetic to such nuances, but here it creates a real discomfort. Perhaps the owner should think about some soft pads under the legs of the beds
