We are a family from Sweden who bought the house and finally our dream of a house in Italy came true. Therefore we can now also offer this to you!
Bella Vista is a nice townhouse high up on a hillside with stunning views of Zambrone Beach, Tyrrhenian Sea, Tropea and the famous active volcano island of Stromboli. Zambrone village is within walking distance and is a hospitable community with local shops, cafes and bars. Zambrone beach is a beautiful white sandy beach with crystal clear water just minutes away. The area around Bella Vista is very quiet and traditionally calabrian landscape / landscape of olive groves and red onion fields. The aroma of the rich wild herbs such as rosemary, fennel and oregano fills the air. The accommodation is on two floors with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen / dining area, living room, two balconies, a sun terrace, a patio, garden and parking in a gated community. The house is suitable for a total of 4 people plus 2 extra in double sofa bed. On the first floor there is a hall, two bedrooms and a bathroom. In one bedroom there is a double bed and in the other two single beds. The bedrooms are furnished with high standard furniture with wardrobe and chest of drawers, good beds and mattresses. The double bed room is also equipped with a 50 inch TV and DVD player (without satellite). The simple bedroom also has a 24 inch TV and DVD player (without satellite). There is air conditioning in both bedrooms. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, sink and shower. The second floor is reached by stairs from the ground floor. The living room has a comfortable sofa (can be converted into a bed so that two more people can sleep), satellite TV 55 inch plus DVD player. There is another bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, oven, two refrigerators, two freezers (plenty of space for food and cold drinks), a premium automatic coffee machine, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery and cooking utensils. There is a small balcony off the kitchen, where you can enjoy the morning coffee. There is a larger balcony from the living room, where you can enjoy the fantastic sunset on the horizon. You'll also find a great Bluetooth speaker (220v / rechargeable battery) to enjoy your favorite music from your Android / iOS device. A spiral staircase leads from the balcony to the sun terrace with panoramic views of the sea, the city of Tropea and a clear day, the active volcanic island of Stromboli.
Bed linen and towels are included. Please note that bath towels are not included and guests should bring their own if needed.
Surronundings: There are good train connections from the airport to Zambrone station without access to a car. The area can be done on foot and everything needed (daily essentials) is in the local village of Zambrone but a walk to the beach is very steep. Exploring the area is definitely a car recommended. For trips further afield and full access to the many beautiful beaches and towns along this fantastic coastline, a car is required. The roads are a little worn in the area, but well maintained.
