Brezza Di Mare Savoia & Savoia | Apartment in Genoa

Positive: This was a great location. Nervi is a little gem. The property is located in a beautiful garden, with a nice swimming pool, 1 minute walk from the train station, the beautiful Nervi Park, the board walk and rock beaches, difficult to beat. 2 very nice bathrooms -good AC -lots of socket adaptors (Italians to Europeans) -24 hours very friendly front desk

Negative: This apartment is on the dark side, being on a quasi basement. -No instructions left on the premises. - Advertised as 85 m2, I was expecting a decent sized kitchen and living room, but: -I could have passed over the tiny, badly planned kitchen, without even room for a dishwasher, with lots of wine glasses and almost no regular glasses, no cooking knives, cookware not really adapted to the induction cooktop. and faucet ready to fall off What I could not pass over was: -No dining room table and chairs, you have to eat (if you manage to cook) on the tiny space between the cooktop and the edge of the counter. i.e. if you just cooked either it's dirty and/or very hot hence not only uncomfortable but also unsafe. -Cabinets were filled with leftovers, many outdated. I am ok with spices, oil and vinegar, but open boxes of cereals, old bread and such like? -One sofa, no other chairs or place to sit, except for the 2 kitchen stools. -dirty oven -burnt out ceiling lights we were told could not be changed since the ceiling was too high -Flickering lights in bathrooms, same as above -;small bathroom was clean but with a yellowed toilet seat. -Washing machine but no dryer and only a broken drying rack which can only be used in the living room since there is no outdoor space -large dressing in the bedroom, but the rods are so high you need a pole to try and hang cloth. Very high small window and blind, and the only way to open them if you want some fresh air or daylight is via a contraption i only figured out on my last day, and would never have been able to use anyway -no pool or beach towels -no change of sheets/towels over 9 days, and since there is no dryer... -you have to either go near the train station to throw the trash and recycle out, but the only way to use the bins is a magnetic card we did not have or climb a lot of stairs to dispose of your trash and recycling in bins which are not yet locked - pet friendly, but smelly pet bed was pee stained !!!

Summary: quality-price disappointing for this poorly maintained property
