Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Was a good location for access to metro and Termini for buses(local and airport). The room was very good size and the bathroom was excellent. Some good places to eat locally as well as coffee shops. Nice to have a jug of cold water given in the evening from the bar for the room.

Negative: Arranged a taxi to pick up from airport to hotel through the hotel on arrival. The cost was 70 €. They were 40 mins late to pick us up after 3 phone calls to the contract number. Then the driver also looked for a tip! Cost of a taxi from airport would only have been 55€ . ( outside control of hotel) Although hot water available from a dispensing machine in breakfast area (7am- 11pm) to make tea it would have been better to have tea/ coffee facilities in the room. We also had to plug the fridge in as initially thought it was not working until we found plug and socket behind fridge. There are about ten steps to the reception area and no lift for bedrooms on upper floors(advice for those with restricted mobility). Hotel did help with advance request to get room on reception level floor .

Summary: The hotel standards are good, the room size excellent. The bathroom was outstanding. Good location.
