Positive: Roberto greeted us and helped us with our bags to the apartment. He was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was a truly authentic way of living in a very local neighbourhood. We were invited to our neighbour’s nightly family gathering for pizza and felt like a part of the family even though none of us could speak each others language well! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was simply equipped. The washing machine was very useful and we hung out our washing like the locals!

Negative: We didn’t realise that towels weren’t provided so had to pay 30 euro for towels for 4 nights. The bed had sheets but no bed cover or blanket of any kind.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in Gallipoli. We recommend this apartment but remember to byo towels!
