Positive: This was the best stay we had in all of Italy. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The person who checked us in helped with our bags and took the time to give us full instructions about the room. A quick note for future guests: breakfast is self-serve in your room, not in a dining room. That said, the breakfast provided was very nice and thoughtfully prepared. We were also welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine at check-in, which was a lovely touch. The room was beautiful—the shower was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and I absolutely loved the decorations. The view was the best we had during our entire trip. The night before checkout, we were invited to a complimentary meal at an authentic Italian restaurant, which was amazing and completely unexpected. At checkout, we were even given a gift of pasta, which was such a thoughtful gesture. An amazing hotel with outstanding service and genuinely kind, considerate people. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Italy.
